NEP+ Participates in the Global Fund GC7 Grant Signing Ceremony

The Network of Networks of HIV Positives in Ethiopia (NEP+) proudly participated in the official signing ceremony of the Global Fund GC7 Grant held on June 18, 2024, at the Ethiopia Skylight Hotel.

The ceremony brought together key stakeholders from government institutions, development partners, civil society organizations, and community representatives to mark the beginning of a new phase in Ethiopia’s national response to HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria.

As a principal community actor, NEP+ reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the meaningful involvement of people living with HIV (PLHIV) in all aspects of the HIV response. Through the GC7 grant, NEP+ will continue to contribute to community-led monitoring, capacity strengthening, human rights advocacy, and improving access to quality HIV prevention, care, and treatment services across Ethiopia.

This milestone demonstrates the power of partnership and collective responsibility in advancing health equity, reducing stigma, and supporting sustainable community systems. NEP+ remains dedicated to ensuring that the voices and experiences of PLHIV guide national strategies and implementation efforts for maximum impact.
