NEP+ 20th General Assembly Meeting: High-Level Advocacy for HIV Program Sustainability

The Network of Ethiopian People Living with HIV (NEP+) successfully convened its 20th General Assembly Meeting on May 17, 2025, at Haile Resort in Adama, bringing together representatives from member associations, government institutions, development partners, civil society organizations, and key stakeholders.

The General Assembly served as a critical national platform for high-level advocacy on the sustainability of HIV programs in Ethiopia, with a particular focus on strengthening national ownership, ensuring continuity of services, and reinforcing the meaningful involvement of people living with HIV in policy and programmatic decision-making.

The meeting concluded with a renewed call for strengthened partnerships, sustained investment, and policy alignment to protect progress achieved to date and to advance a sustainable, inclusive, and people-centered HIV response in Ethiopia.
