NEP+ Vacancy Announcement


Network of Networks of HIV Positive in Ethiopia (NEP+) was established in October 2004 to raise the collective voice of People living with HIV. Its constituents become regional PLHIV networks representing each regions and city councils. Where formal regional networks did not exist, individual PLHIV associations were invited to join and NEP+ began establishing regional networks. There are also three special members: The National Network of Positive Women Ethiopians (NNPWE), and two national PLHIV associations.

1 Finance Officer BA in Accounting or related field 1 Fixed Term
4 years relevant work experience
Technical and Other Skill: Technical Good communication and presentation skills, Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner, Competency in computer applications, Knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree Accounting ), Knowledge of IPSAS is a plus
2 Communication Officer  BA/ MA Degree in Journalism, Language, Public Relations and communication, Social Sciences or related. 1 Fixed Term
4 years of proven experience for BA and 2 years for MA in relevant work experience.
Technical and Other Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Knowledge of associated press writing style guide, Computer Proficiency in software application like Photoshop, Publisher, adobe and Powerpoint, Strong interpersonal and communication skills
3 M&E Officer BSc in Economics, Statistics or other related field. 1 Fixed Term
 4 years of work experience in extension work, Health and related activities.
Technical and Other Skills: Application of software and data management and analysis, Report writing and analytical skill, Proficiency in computer application, Application of SPSS or other statistical software, Interpersonal communication.
4 Program Coordinator I MPH//MSc/MBA/BSc in Social Science, Development or related field 1 Fixed Term
6 years of experience for Master’s degree holders and 8 years work experience for Bachelor degree in the area of her/his expertise work and health/HIV related activities.
Technical and Other Skills: Knowledge in basic computing, Skills in strategic planning and work plan development, Oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, and presentational skills, Expert knowledge of program development, coordination, and project evaluation, Ability to contact and negotiate with representatives of governments and funding agencies, Ability to refine existing work plans, develop new plans as well as establish new program staff support, Ability to independently develop and implement the responsibilities stated in the job description, Skills in report writing
5 HR & Administration Coordinator MBA/BA Degree in Management, Supplies Management or related fields 1 9-10 months and extended depending on the availablity of fund
7 years of experience for Master’s degree holders and 9 years of relevant work experience for BA degree holders, NGO experience is advantageous
Technical and Other Skills: Managerial and supervisory skill, Good skills in the use of computer, Excellent communication and presentation skills and , Proficiency in writingand and spoken English
6 Grant and Finance Manager MBA/BA Degree in Accounting, Management or related field 1 9-10 months and extended depending on the availability of fund
8/10 years of relevant work experience out of which 6 years in a senior position, NGO experience is desired.
Technical and Other Skills : Integrated knowledge and understanding of human resources concepts, practices, systems, and procedures, Ability to interact and deal with people, Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills, Computer proficiency (knowledge accounting software is advantageous), Good knowledge of written and spoken English, Knowledge of IPSAS is a plus.
